The 2023 Gender, Work and Organization (GWO) conference will be hosted for the first time on African shores at Stellenbosch, South Africa. The conference theme is Marginalised Gender Identities – How can Intellectual Activism Transform Work and Organization? Marginalised gender identities include women, the LGBTQ+ community, and non-normative heterosexual men, which further intersect with race, ethnicity, religion, class, bodily and cognitive ability, nationality, geospatial and socioeconomic origin or placement, educational background, and job type.
